Roger Widdecombe is the Church Leader. After a career in sales for thirteen years he studied theology for two years and became a minister in the Church of England in 2003. He came to St Paul’s in late 2006 and loves being part of the community. He enjoys fixing bikes, chatting to people and triathlons. Rog is married to Hannah and they have two boys and a little girl.
Jennifer Fellows is the Assistant Pastor. Originally from Glasgow, she moved to Cheltenham in Summer 2018 with her husband Simon. Jennifer previously worked as a Children’s and Families’ Minister in St Albans. She loves playing netball, a good book and cramming as many people as possible round her dining room table for dinner.
Rosie Amess is a part-time Curate at St. Paul’s. She is also pioneering a Chaplaincy Role in a GP surgery in Tewkesbury part-time. Rosie is married to Pete and they have 3 children, a golden retriever called Betsy & a fish called Fish Finger. She enjoys lots of things including running, reading, meals with friends and a good party!
Georgie Hogg is the part time Church Administrator and currently oversees communications, media & bookings. She moved to Cheltenham in 2004, has taught in primary schools for fourteen years and been part of the St. Paul’s family for eight years. She is married to Al and they have two children. She loves music, cooking, gardening, chicken keeping and anything art and crafty.
Tim Jones is Youth Pastor. He joined us as an intern in 2013 and has just finished pursuing an MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission with CMS Pioneers. He likes to think big and will ‘philosophise’ about literally anything. He loves people, good coffee and long conversations so strangely rather enjoys meetings – especially in coffee shops.
Tia has embarked on the New Wine Disciplship Year which is based at Trinity Cheltenham. She’ll be focusing her time on children’s ministry at St Paul’s, working alongside the team in the office, volunteering at Tiddlywinks and leading sessions on a Sunday morning. Tia is engaged to Harry.
