Roger Widdecombe is the Church Leader. After a career in sales for thirteen years he studied theology for two years and became a minister in the Church of England in 2003. He came to St Paul’s in late 2006 and loves being part of the community. He enjoys fixing bikes, chatting to people and triathlons. Rog is married to Hannah and they have two boys and a little girl.
Jennifer Fellows is the Assistant Pastor. Originally from Glasgow, she moved to Cheltenham in Summer 2018 with her husband Simon. Jennifer previously worked as a Children’s and Families’ Minister in St Albans. She loves playing netball, a good book and cramming as many people as possible round her dining room table for dinner.
Rachel Beere is training for ordination at St. Mellitus and is overseeing the evening gathering amongst other aspects of church life. She is married to Adrian, has a bunch of kids and a dog called Maramaduke. She enjoys good coffee, adventures, being in nature and family holidays.
PA to Leadership Team
Rachel Blyth is the PA to the Leadership Team. After studying at Durham University, she moved to the area just over a year ago. She is engaged to Jack and they’ll be getting married in April 2020. She loves music and runs a community choir in the School House Cafe. She is a keen lover of all things dogs, Disney and delicious food.
Georgie Hogg is the part time Church Administrator and currently oversees communications, media & bookings. She moved to Cheltenham in 2004, has taught in primary schools for fourteen years and been part of the St. Paul’s family for nine years. She is married to Al and they have two children. She loves music, cooking, gardening, chicken keeping and anything art and crafty.
Joint Youth Pastor
Isaac Watson is one of the Youth Pastors, overseeing Friday Nights and Sunday Mornings amongst other areas. He grew up in Birmingham, studied in Lancaster and now lives locally with his wife Maddie. He enjoys music, football and a coffee or walk with friends. You’ll often find him singing or tapping without realising it (just tell him to stop).
Joint Youth Pastor
Will works alongside Isaac and the Youth Team overseeing Friday Nights and Sunday Mornings. He is married to Abbie-Lee and has recently moved to the area from Cardiff.
Emma Whitbread is doing Discipleship Year training with New Wine and an internship at St. Paul’s. She’ll be overseeing youth during her time with us. She loves baking, watching films, a good nap and great conversations.
