Roger Widdecombe is the Church Leader. After a career in sales for thirteen years he studied theology for two years and became a minister in the Church of England in 2003. He came to St Paul’s in late 2006 and loves being part of the community. He enjoys fixing bikes, chatting to people and triathlons. Rog is married to Hannah and they have two boys and a little girl.
Assitant PastorJennifer Fellows is the Assistant Pastor. Originally from Glasgow, she moved to Cheltenham in Summer 2018 with her husband Simon. Jennifer previously worked as a Children’s and Families’ Minister in St Albans. She loves playing netball, a good book and cramming as many people as possible round her dining room table for dinner.
Georgie Hogg is the part time Church Administrator and currently oversees communications, media & bookings. She moved to Cheltenham in 2004, has taught in primary schools for fourteen years and been part of the St. Paul’s family for eight years. She is married to Al and they have two children. She loves music, cooking, gardening, chicken keeping and anything art and crafty.
Youth Pastor Role
We are looking for a youth pastor who will disciple our growing church youth in the way of Jesus and reach out to our deprived local community. As a leadership team we are committed to supporting and empowering our incoming Youth Pastor to enabling longevity of service and flourishing in ministry.
The person we are looking for will be a key member of our small staff team and committed to serving our community. They will have some experience of youth work and a degree level qualification in it or extensive experience and a proven track record. They will love Jesus and enjoy exercising the gifts of His Spirit; they will be a self starter, innovative and disciplined; they will be able to inspire others, grow teams and empower the people around them as well as the youth.

We are looking for a PA to join our staff team, primarily working with the Vicar, Roger Widdecombe. We anticipate the role growing, but initially it is on a part time basis.
The person we are looking for will be a key member of our small staff team and committed to helping us to work efficiently. They will be highly organised and proficient with IT, able to break down tasks into manageable processes, have good interpersonal skills and enjoy the detail.
