Who’s Who

CHURCH LEADERS

Roger is the vicar and leads the church with his wife, Hannah. After a career in sales for thirteen years, Roger studied theology for two years and became a minister in the Church of England in 2003. They came to St Paul’s in late 2006 and love being part of the community. Rog enjoys fixing bikes, chatting to people and triathlons. Hannah loves hosting, catching up over a cup of tea and gardening. They have two boys and a girl.

ASSISTANT PASTOR

David is the Assistant Pastor, is married to Charis and they have four children. He has been involved in church leadership since 2005 and is now en-route to being ordained in the Church of England. He enjoys gathering around food, the community dynamic of playing rounders and he loves biking around Cleeve Hill.

CHILDREN’S PASTOR

Jemima Downing is the Children’s Pastor. She grew up in Birmingham, worked in Canada for 2 years, studied in Bristol and moved to Cheltenham in 2021 after completing the New Wine Discipleship Year. She enjoys baking yummy treats, exploring new places, any Snowsport and going all out with fancy dress for any family occasion.

YOUTH PASTOR

Kris Forster is the Youth Pastor. He moved to Cheltenham from Derbyshire in 2021 with his wife, Jess, and 4 year old son, Ezra. They welcomed Bhodi into the family in 2022. Kris is a big fan of good coffee, loves to get stuck into a comic book or game of chess and follows Cardiff City Football Club with passion. Most importantly, his favourite youth group game is Spoons.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Rachel Bourner is the Operations Manager. After studying at Durham University, she moved to Cheltenham in 2018. She married Jack in 2020 and, being a lover of music, teaches kids various instruments and runs two community choirs in the rest of her week. She is a massive fan of all things dogs, Disney and delicious food.
