KINGDOM BUILDING
Community Facilities Redevelopment Project at St Paul’s Cheltenham
We are about to undertake a major overhaul of our community facilities; making them fit for purpose and accessible to all. The plans involve demolishing the existing buildings and replacing them with two, self contained annexes providing meeting rooms, accessible toilets, kitchens, storage and an office. These will enable our work with the most deprived and excluded in our community to develop and grow.
The project will be undertaken alongside the St Paul's Mission Hall Trust, which owns part of the land on which the buildings sit. We are seeking donations to fund the work from grant making bodies, corporate donors and individuals. For administrative purposes St Paul’s Church will receive individual donations and especially those eligible for Gift Aid and the Mission Hall Trust will receive corporate donations and grants.
In practice, all funds raised will contribute towards the overall project, regardless of which organisation receives the donation. This arrangement has simply been adopted as the most convenient and efficient method of administration.
