STUDENTS

Welcome to Cheltenham

We are so excited that you are coming to study in Cheltenham! University is an amazing time to explore faith and grow your relationship with Jesus in community. We hope that you find a church family to call home during your years of study. If that’s with us, we can’t wait to meet you and help you get connected.

Below, you can find out more about life as a student at St. Paul’s. If you would like to connect with us and find out more information, chat to our welcome team on a Sunday or pop us an email!

Got questions about God?

Lots of people find that their time as a student leads them to ask some of the big questions about life and faith; perhaps you have some of these questions right now. Would you enjoy a space to explore what you think and hear what Christians believe in a relaxed environment?

The Alpha Course has been designed for exactly this. On the course, you can ask any question, share any thought (or, say nothing at all!) and have a chance to hear what Christianity has to say about it all. Find out more on our Alpha page below.

Adopt a Student

Every student at St Paul’s has the opportunity to be “adopted” by a family in the church. Your adoptive church parents will commit to praying for you and supporting you. They will also (very importantly) feed you regularly!

Small Groups

At St Paul’s, we encourage our students to get stuck into a midweek small group as a way of connecting with the wider church family. These happen all across Cheltenham on different nights and are a great place for support, prayer and deeper discipleship.

Serving

We want to help you grow in your walk with Jesus, which includes using and developing your gifts. As a member of the church family, there are plenty of opportunities to get stuck into different areas of church life depending on what you’re passionate about.
